Back to reality

I'm still recovering from jet-lag...gee it's a killer. I thought it just meant being tired, but it's so much more.

It's not knowing where you put your keys.

It's not knowing where you put Monday.

It's not knowing where you put your brain.

So forgive the brief blogging entries - or praise the heavens for them if it suits you better.

I'm basically just catching my breath, as I have a slew of gigs coming up in the next month, including several trips to Sydney (where I'm doing some corporate improv stuff) and this Friday will be my one and only performance in Edge Improv's IMPROCK!

Come check it out - it rocks and it's got a cool poster and stuff.

And yes, that's me in the front with a bat in my mouth. Ehem.

OMG that is the most apt description of jetlag I've ever heard. Perfect! Can I quote you?? I once, in a jet-lag induced fog- drove 15km past my exit on the freeway before even realising what I'd done. The worst thing is it's like a paper cut- hurts like hell, but you never get any sympathy for it.

So glad you had an awesome time, and I loved reading all about it. It seems like the trip surpassed even your wildest dreams- isn't that just the best?!

Oh by all means, quote away. I had absolutely no idea what people ever complained about - especially seeing that I pretty much live in a constant state of sleep deprivation. But this whole time zone changing thing does a number on you alright!

And as for surpassing my wildest dreams, yep - that pretty much sums it up. Someone yesterday asked me "So what now?"

I think I'll wait til the smoke clears before I start to get to that. But some cool things are happening already. Stay tuned!

So you do a take on Ozzy Osbourne during the show by putting a bat in your mouth. I love it.

Hi Comic Mummy,
So when are your Sydney dates? I will be in Sydney Sept 11 to Sept 16. No gigs for me, just chilling out.

Huggies - I hope to channel Ozzy directly. Can you make it?

Kristen - whereabouts are you in the States? A US tour at some point next year is DEFINITELY on the cards.

Rebecca - I'm not doing stand-up gigs, just private corporate improv gigs, odd weekends til the end of the year. Doh! I mean 'yay', but 'doh' I'll miss you!

Mrs Mogul - Hehe, I'll take that as a compliment I guess. Thanks for the welcome back - and oh boy, did I LOVE Manhattan.

Ash - Hey!! Cool to see you here - can't wait for tomorrow, should be ROCKING.
